Join the Skyeair Mobility Cadet Pilot Program powered by Flapone Aviation and take the first step towards mastering advanced drone operations. This comprehensive training program is designed to prepare aspiring drone pilots for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) flights using cutting-edge Skye UTM technology, all in compliance with DGCA regulations with assured jobs.

To apply for the Skye Air Mobility Cadet Pilot Program Powered by Flapone Aviation, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be between 18 and 32 years of age
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Able to produce a Criminal Record Check (CRC) Basic Disclosure Certificate and pass all referencing checks
• Must have access to the full funding required for this course**
• Minimum Education Qualification: 10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1.

NOTE: Before your induction training with Flapone Aviation you will be required to pass a drug test.

• STEP 1: Written Test (Based on English, Math & Physics)
• STEP 2: Compass Test (Computer based Test)
• STEP 3: SKYEAIR Screening (Group Discussion followed by Personal Interview)
• STEP 4: Medical

Part 1: Aviation Theory (15 - 20 Days)

1. Introduction to BVLOS and Skye UTM

Gain insights into BVLOS operations and the pivotal role of Skye UTM technology in ensuring safe flights.

2. Regulatory Framework and Compliance

Delve into DGCA regulations governing drone operations in India and learn the intricacies of obtaining permissions and waivers for compliant BVLOS flights.

3. UAV Systems and Communication Protocols

Explore UAV systems essential for BVLOS operations and understand communication protocols that are crucial for effective communication.

4. Navigation, Weather, and Risk Management

Master navigation systems and tools, delve into weather considerations, and learn risk assessment techniques for safe BVLOS flights.

5. Flight Planning and Execution with Skye UTM

Engage in practical exercises focused on mission planning and execution using Skye UTM, honing your skills in waypoint management.

6. Post-Flight Processes and Legal Considerations

Understand documentation and reporting procedures, and explore legal aspects including privacy and liability issues.

7. Practical Training and Assessments

Participate in simulation exercises and practical training sessions to enhance your skills in BVLOS operations, culminating in assessments to evaluate your proficiency.

Part 2: DGCA - Remote Pilot Certificate Training (5- 7 Days)

Day 1 & 2 - Theory Sessions

• Basic Principles of Flight - 01:00 hrs.
• ATC Procedures & Radio Telephony - 01:00 hrs.
• Fixed-wing Operations and Aerodynamics - 01:30hrs.
• Rotorcraft Operations and Aerodynamics - 01:30 hrs.
• Hybrid Operations and Aerodynamics - 30 mi
• Weather and Meteorology - 01:15 hrs.
• Drone Equipment Maintenance - 01:30 hrs.
• Risk Assessment & Analysis - 01:30 hrs.
• Payload, Installation and Utilization - 01:15 hrs.
• Intro to Drone Data & Analysis - 01:30hrs.

Day 3 - Ground & Simulator Training Sessions

• Theory Test - 40 mins
• Ground Training Session - 02:00 hrs.
• Simulator Training Session - 03:00 hrs.

Day 4 to 7 including Reserve Days - Drone Flying Training Sessions

• Intro to Digital Sky
• Practical Drone Flying Training Session - 04:10 hrs.
• Final Test – Rotorcraft - 00:20 hrs.

Part 3: BVCOS & UTM Software Training (2- 3 Days)

• BVLOS Theory Sessions
• UTM Software Sessions
• UTM Practical Training

Part 4: On-the-job Training at SKYE-AIR (2 Days)

• On-site training 

• All Flapone Academy training, equipment, uniform, and airfield fees.
• Accommodation and food are provided for the duration of the 3-day flying training with Flapone.
• Regulatory exam and skills test fees.

Currently, our courses are only available at the following locations: Dwarka (Theory), Sonipat (Flying Training Center), and Sohna (Gurugram) (Flying Training Center).

Upon successful completion of the Cadet Pilot Program, graduates are guaranteed job placement with Skyeair, starting with a minimum monthly salary of Rs 25,000.
