The drone racing competition was sponsored by the I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics, the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi. With 15 pilots from Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Pondicherry, and even Nepal, the drone league also had an audience of 300 plus students.

Small drones are hugely popular for drone races, some enthusiasts also participate with giant drones. These giant drones have got the agility and speed of smaller drones but they are much more complex to pilot as compared to their smaller counterparts.
